Magento 1.x

You can easily integrate your Magento 1.x website with HelpCrunch via our native extension and start chatting with your customers right away.

STEP 1. Download HelpCrunch native extension for Magento 1 here and extract files from a .zip archive to your Magento 1 root directory. HelpCrunch will appear as a new tab in your Magento admin panel.

STEP 2. Now you’ll need your HelpCrunch installation code. Just log in to your HelpCrunch account and go to Settings → Website Widgets → Your Website. Copy your code snippet for CMS / E-commerce.

STEP 3. Go back to your Magento admin panel and paste the code into the text field at HelpCrunch settings tab. Then click 'Save'.

That's it! That's the whole installation for Magento 1.

Magento 2.x

You can find and install module for free via Magento Marketplace. Otherwise, you will need an access to your server with Magento 2 to install the module by Composer.

So, here's how you get the HelpCrunch module for Magento 2 by Composer:

STEP 1. Go to the root folder of your Magento 2 website and run the following commands via Magento 2 user:

composer require helpcrunch/magento2-module:dev-master
php bin/magento module:enable HelpCrunch_HelpCrunch
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento setup:di:compile
php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f
php bin/magento cache:clean

STEP 2. To enable your HelpCrunch module, you’ll need the installation code. Just log in to your HelpCrunch account and go to Settings → Website Widgets → Your Website. Copy your code snippet for CMS.

STEP 3. After you have found the installation code and installed the module, go to the Stores → Configuration of your Magento admin panel. HelpCrunch will appear as a new tab in the 'Configuration' section. You need to paste the installation code into the HelpCrunch settings string text field. Then click 'Save Config'.

STEP 4. Then you need to go to System → Cache Management and press the 'Flush Magento Cache' button to make sure settings will apply.

Now you will be able to see the chat widget in the bottom right corner of your Magento 2 website.
