There are several ways to search for something in HelpCrunch, depending on what exactly you're looking for.

Search through chats in your Inbox

Once you start receiving chats from customers, your Inbox will contain a lot of conversations. You can easily find any information or contact in it by using the corresponding ‘Search’ feature, which is located on the top left.

For instance, if you want to find all chats with the keyword REFUND, just type it in the Search field and press ENTER.

Search through your contacts

The ‘Contacts’ section contains all your customers and potential leads. In order to find anything in your user base, you can use various advanced search criteria. For this, press the ‘Add criteria’ button in the left sidebar and choose any criteria you need from the drop-down list.

Let’s say you want to find all contacts with some specific chat notes. Just go to the ‘Contacts’ section and press the ‘Add criteria’  button, then choose the ‘Chat notes’ option from the drop-down list. You can use equals / contains / is not / has any value / is unknown parameters and specify any keywords from chat notes that you need to find.

NOTE!

If you want to return to the default list of contacts, you need to erase your filter field or hit the 'Clear search' button,
