Exporting report data in HelpCrunch allows you to analyze key metrics outside the platform. Follow these simple steps to download and open reports in Excel correctly.

Open the Reports Section
- Navigate to the Reports tab in HelpCrunch.
- Select the report you want to export (e.g., Team Members, Customer Satisfaction).

Interact with Report Figures
- Click on any interactive figure (e.g., Total Chats in the Team Members report).
- This will open a detailed chat list of chats related to that figure.

Export the Data
- Click on the three-dot menu at the top of the chat list.
- Select Export as XLS or Export as CSV.

Receive the File
- You will receive an email with a link to download the exported file shortly.
Based on the number of chats you are exporting, it might take up to 15 minutes to receive the email. Please check your inbox and spam folder if you don’t see it immediately.
How to Properly Open an Exported CSV Report in Google Sheets
Import CSV Using the "Import" Feature

Open a New Google Sheet
- Click Blank to create a new spreadsheet.

Import the CSV File
- Click File → Import.
- Go to the Upload tab and select the CSV file.

Adjust Import Settings
- In the import options window:
- Import location: Choose Replace current sheet or Insert new sheet.
- Separator type: Select Comma to ensure proper column separation.

Click "Import Data"
- Your CSV file will be imported correctly with all columns and characters displayed properly.

Save and Use the Data
- You can now edit, analyze, and format the data as needed.
- To share, click File → Share and set the appropriate permissions.
