Sometimes it's required to allow access to the knowledge base only to specific users. In this case, it can be password-protected, or access by restricted by ip address.

Knowledge base Settings → General→ Access control

Choose the option(s) you need to protect your knowledge:

1. Set password for it 

2. Add the ip addresses you want to allow
